About the Event:

Do you have questions regarding the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Statue 786.0706 and the upcoming compliance date of January 1, 2025? Join Joseph Weedman, FCP, SRMP-C as he reviews the verbiage, what the next steps are for your property, and any other additional questions. 

Joseph will review his easy to follow guide which will walk you through the compliance needed. There is an additional section on the ways that Management Staff can conduct their own preliminary site walk-through. Finally, he will explain methods to attain assessments by the deadline.

About the Speaker:

Joseph Weedman is a highly accomplished entrepreneur and security expert with over 20 years of experience in business, security, and risk management. He launched his career in 2011 by founding Three Kings Consulting, later expanding his ventures into a conglomerate of businesses under WEEDMAN & CO. Among his notable achievements, INTELCHECKS stands out as a premier platform providing background checks, while OP4 Security Solutions, founded in 2015 with his wife, has become a trusted name for emergency response and security solutions.


In 2020, he displayed foresight before the COVID-19 pandemic by launching Supply With Me, a supply chain risk management company reflecting his adaptability and strategic insight. His business portfolio further diversified with the creation of Bubbles Cleaning, Tony's Handyman Services, and Jewelz by Weedman & Co.


A dedicated lifelong learner, Joseph earned a Security Management degree with concentrations in areas such as protective services, information security, and industrial espionage, and holds the Florida Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (FCP) and Security Risk Management Professional-Country (SRMP-C) designations. He currently serves as Chairman of the US CPTED Association Guidelines Committee, contributing to the development of security standards nationwide. He is a published author with writings in security and risk management to include C.P.T.E.D, Crime Prevention and Active shooter situations.


Joseph's work in security began in nightlife establishments, evolving through roles in executive protection and security consulting. He has honed his expertise in crime prevention, management, high risk security, and risk assessment, offering comprehensive solutions to clients across various industries. His dedication to safety, innovation, and quality underscores his ongoing commitment to enhance security and provide value to his customers and partners.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations and No-Shows are still responsible for payment. If you cannot attend the event, please note that your registration is transferable for the same event. For transfers/ replacements to the original registration, the SEFAA Office must be notified 24 hours prior to event start (48 hours for Signature Events: Volleyball Tournament, Trade Show, Circle of Excellence) by calling the office at 561-447-0696 or emailing events@sefaa.org to prevent double billing. Attendees may present the name of the registrant being replaced at check-in; however prevention of double billing cannot be guaranteed when transfers are made on-site.

Accounts Receivables: If your account is past due 60 or more days, you will not be able to register for any of our upcoming programs, seminars or educational events until your account is brought up to current. Account can be brought current through Member Compass or calling the SEFAA office at 561-447-0696.
